பாடல் 184 - பழநி

முகிலள கத்திற் என்ற பாடலின் இரண்டாம் பாகம் 

செகமுழு தொக்கப் பயந்த சங்கரி

அடியவர் சித்தத் துறைந்த சம்ப்ரம

சிவனொரு பக்கத் துறைந்த மங்கைசு  -  மங்கைநீடு

திகழ்வன பச்சைப் பசங்கி யம்பன

கரதலி கச்சுற் றிலங்கு கொங்கையள் 

திருவரு நற்பொற் பரந்தி டும்பரை - யண்டமீதே

பகலிர வற்றிட் டுயர்ந்த அம்பிகை 

திரிபுரை முற்றிட் டிரண்டொ டொன்றலர்

பரிவுற வொக்கச் செயும்ப ரம்ப்ரமி - யன்புகூரும்  

பதிவ்ரதை மிக்கப் சிரந்தே ரிந்தருள்

பகிரதி வெற்பிற் பிறந்த பெண்தரு

பழநியில் வெற்பிற் றிகழ்ந்து நின்றருள் - தம்பிரானே 

செகமுழு தொக்கப் பயந்த சங்கரி -  உலகங்கள் முழுதையும் பெற்றெடுத்த சங்கரன் துணைவி.

அடியவர் சித்தத் துறைந்த சம்ப்ரம சிவனொரு பக்கத் துறைந்த மங்கை -  தனது அடியவர்களின் நினைவும் எப்போதும் நடமாடும் பரம்பொருளான சிவனின் இடப்பக்கம் ஆன தேவி

சுமங்கை  -  எப்பொழுதும் சுமங்கலியாய் இருப்பவள்  ; அன்னைக்கு நித்ய கல்யாணி என்றொரு பெயருமுண்டு ( எப்பொழுதும் சுமங்கலியாய் இருப்பவள்)

நீடு  திகழ் வன பச்சைப் பசங்கி -  எப்பொழுதும் புதுமையாய் பசுமையாய் விளங்கும் பச்சை நிறத்தவள்

ய( அ )ம்பன கரதலி -  கையில் வீணை ஏந்தியவள் 

கச்சு உற்று இலங்கு கொங்கையள் - பக்தர்களுக்கு அருள் எனும் பாலை ஈனும் கொங்கைகளை தர்மம் எனும் கச்சினால் அணைய புனைந்திருப்பவள்

திருவருள் நல் பொன் பரந்திடும் பரை - பக்தர்களுக்கு திருவருளும் நல்ல செல்வங்களும் வழங்கும் தேவ மங்கை

அண்டம் மீதே பகல் இரவு அற்றிட்டு உயர்ந்த அம்பிகை - இவ்வண்ட சராசரத்தில் பகல் இரவு , (முதல் முடிவு ) அனைத்தும் இல்லா உயர்ந்த நிர்குணம் கொண்டவள்

திரிபுரை -  திரிபுரம் எரித்த சிவனின் துணைவி 

முற்றிட்டு இரண்டோடு ஒன்று அலர் பரிவுற ஒக்கச் செயும் பரம்ப்ரமி - முற்றிய பசு பாசம் இல்லாத பதியான சிவபெருமான் அன்புடன் மகிழ்ந்து கூடும் மூலப்பொருள் ஆனவள்     

அன்பு கூரும் பதிவ்ரதை - பெருங்கருணை மிக்க பத்தினித் தாயானவள் 


மிக்கச் சிரம் தெரிந்து அருள் பகீரதி வெற்பில் பிறந்த பெண் - மலையரசன் ஹிமவானுக்காக மலைகளை உயர்ந்த மலையாம் மேருவில் உள்ள ஆகாயகங்கை  பாயும் பொற்றாமரை குளத்தில் பிறந்த பெண்.

தரு பழநியில் வெற்பில்  திகழ்ந்து   நின்றருள்  தம்பிரானே - பெற்ற மகனே, பழனியிலும் இன்ன பிற மலைகளிலும் நின்று பக்தர்களுக்கு அருளும் பெருமானே.

pathivrathai mikkac chiranthe rintharul
pakirathi verpir pirantha pentharu

seka muzhuthu okkap payantha sangari - he is wife of the Lord Shankaraa and she is who delivered the entire universe;

adiyavar siththaththu uraintha samprama sivan oru pakkaththu uraintha mangai - She is the other half of the the Almighty Lord ShivA, who resides in the hearts of all His devotees;

sumangai: she is ever sumanggali ( in form of newly wed bride status ever)

needu thikazhvana pacchaip pasangi - she looks green which symbolizes that she is evergreen and refreshing

ampaNa(m) karathali - he holds the string instrument, yAzh, in Her hand;

kacchu utru ilangu kongaiyal - the one who wears dharma as blouse for her breast which is described as the her shower of milk of graceness and divine blessings to the bhakthas.

thiru arul nal pon paranthidum parai - showers her devotees with divine grace and wealth;

andam meethe pakal iravu atrittu uyarntha ampikai- She is the Mother Goddess who resides at the highest pedestal beyond all the worlds where neither day nor night exists;

thiri purai - She is the wife of the lord Shiva destroyed Thiripuram;

mutrittu irandodu onru alar parivura okkac cheyyum paramprami - she is the form of ultimate prabrahma which being loved and embraced by the immaculate almighty Shiva

anpu koorum pathivrathai - She is the merciful and chaste consort of Lord Siva;

mikkac chiram therinthu arul pakirathi verpil pirantha pen - she born as parvathi, daughter of King Himavaan, the lord of the mountains upen his prayers. she born in the golden lotus pond which filled by the sky ganga on the mount Meru

tharu - and You are the child graciously delivered by that Paarvathi!

pazhaniyil verpil thikazhnthu nindru arul thambiraane -  You stand prominently, full of grace, on Mount Pazhani and also in other hills, Oh Unique and Great One!
