கங்காளி - ஊழிக்கால நடனமிடும் காளி // ருத்ரப் பெருமானின் சக்தியானவள் 

சாமுண்டி - மகிஷா வதம் செய்து அவன் தலை மேல் நிற்கும் தேவி // தர்ம சொருபியான வீரபத்திரக் கடவுளின் சக்தியாக விளங்குபவள் 

வராகி - உலகைக் காக்கும் வராக மூர்த்தியின் சக்தியானவள் // யம சக்தியாகவும் திகழ்பவள்   

இந்த்ராணி - இவ்வுலக இன்பங்கள் நல்கும் இந்திரனின் சக்தியானவள் 

கௌமாரி - சர்வ லோக ஸ்ருஷ்டி ஸ்திதி பரிபாலனம் செய்யும் முருகப் பெருமானின் சக்தியானவள் 

கமலாசனக் கன்னி - பிரம்மா தேவரின் சக்தியான பிராமி ஆனவள் 

நாரணி -  காத்தல் தொழில் செய்யும் திருமாலின் சக்தியானவள்    

******  இதில்  குறிக்க பெரும் முதல் ஏழு பெயர்களும் அம்மையின் சப்த கன்னிகா சொரூபங்களாகும் // இப்பாடல் வழி வேலினை ஏழுபேரும் சக்திகளாகவும் அருணை பெருமானார் மறைமுகமாகக் குறிப்பிடுகிறார்.  ****

பயிரவி - பைரவ மூர்த்தியின் சக்தியானவள் 

அமலை - நிர்மலம் ஆனவள். ஆணவம் கன்மம் மாயை ஆகிய மலங்கள் அற்றவள் 

கௌரி - வெளிர் நிறத்தவள் 

காமாட்சி - அடியவர் ஆசைகளை நிறைவேற்றக் கூடிய கடைக்கண் பார்வையைக் கொண்டவள் -

சைவ சிங்காரி - பேரழகியான சிவ பெருமானின் சக்தி 

யாமளை - நீல நிறத்தவள் 

பவானி - சம்சாரக் கடலைக் கடக்க அருள்பவள்  

கார்த்திகை - கார்த்திகை மாதர்களாய் முருகனைப்  பேணியவள் 

கொற்றி - போர்க்களத்திற்கு தலைமையாய் இருப்பவள்   

த்ரியம்பகி - முக்கண் உடையவள்  

அளித்த செல்வச் சிறுவன் - ஆகிய தாய் அளித்த அருமை குழந்தையான  

ஆறுமுகன் முருகன் - ஆறு முகங்களை கொண்ட கந்தக் கடவுள்  

நிருதர்கள் குல அந்தகன் - அரக்கர்களை அவர்தம் குலத்தோடு அழிக்க வந்த நிர்மூலக் கடவுள் 

செம்பொன் திருக்கை வேலே -  கையில் அமர்ந்திருக்கும் பொன் வேலே.

inthraani - the activating force of the Lord Indra, the leader of the olympians
gowmaari - the sakthi of lord Mururga
